Here's what we've been reading lately...

"I'm reading 'Too Fat Too Slutty Too Loud: The Rise and Reign of the Unruly Woman' by Anne Helen Peterson, which Willow gave me for my birthday, and Ray-ray is reading the latest New Scientist magazine and 'The Power' by Naomi Alderman". -- Anj

"An amazing book I just finished and can't stop recommending to people is 'Educated' by Tara Westover. It's a memoir about a girl born into a large mormon family in Idaho and who never went to school (or even had a birth certificate until she was 9!) but when she was 17 she went to college and then went on to study her phd at Harvard and Cambridge. It is such an inspiring book that talks a lot about her childhood and the struggles with her family when she decided to leave Idaho. An incredible woman! Love her story! I couldn't put it down!" -- Gabrielle

"I have to confess - I'm not a big reader! But I was given 'The Goldfinch' by Donna Tartt for my birthday by some friends, so I'm slowly getting through that!!" -- Elise

"I'm reading 'The Choice' by Edith Eger, on loan from Rach 2.0 and am quite enjoying it – she has an amazing story." – Sally

"I've just read 'The Lowland' by Jhumpa Lahiri." -- Rosie

"I am currently reading 'The Secret History' by Donna Tartt, and  I finished 'A Little Life' by Hanya Yanagihara while we were travelling, terrible but wonderful." – Hannah

"The last book that I read and really enjoyed was 'Americanah' - late to the party I know but what a book." -- Alice

"Because I secretly nurture a desire be a detective or private investigator 'I'll Be Gone in the Dark' by Michelle McNamara was my last read. And before that, I loved 'Tenth of December' by George Saunders. -- Willow
